This is where the commanding legionaries stay and do their planning. Commonly used by Centurions and Legates.

[Enter Josaline the Red]
Barging into the tent unannounced, and without the Centurian with her, Josaline the Red smirks in delight. She had been walking all over the camp residents, and the best part: nobody had the authority or the guts to try and stop her. The woman looks around for any officials.

In the middle of the room was a large command table; covered in maps and pieces of the Solar, Lunar, and Crystal Empires. By the end of it was the Praefectus Castrorum: The leader of this military encampment, the Optio, a few Frumentarii, and about ten Decanus.
All of them looked over at the arrival of Josaline and her masked underling. The Optio looked concerned at the lack of the Centurions presence, but said nothing. All of the men took a seat, aside from the Optio.
"Is -- Centurion Cazzaza going to be joining us, Legate?" He asks, obviously being careful with his words.

Stretching her arms slightly and yawning, the Red had a demeanour about her that suggested that she didn't much care about the fate of the Centurion. Approaching the war table casually, the Legate sits down on what was presumably her chair. The empty seat beside her was obviously meant for Cazzaza, though Josaline motioned for Jeniza to sit in his place.
"Hm? Oh, he was feeling a bit under the weather, so I dismissed him. Poor old man..." She chuckles to herself.

Jeniza lets out a small smirk behind his expressionless mask, sitting right next to Josaline. The Optio looks saddened by this, but even more scared as well. He nods and coughs into his hand.
"Alright then... alright. Due to Cazzaza's absence, I will be acting Centurion as we go over this battle-plan, and invade the Solar Empire... gentleman -- Legate -- this is officially the first attack on Solar soil in over a hundred years. We will not disappoint His Magnificence, our King, long may he reign."
"Long may he reign." All the other men in the room agree, chanting the same words in unison after the new Centurion.

"Long may he reign." Josaline chants in unison with the men. As much as she enjoyed toying with others, she was fiercely loyal to her king.
A short silence was quickly broken by the Legate twirling Cazzaza's command stick playfully. She eyes the acting Centurion with a devious grin.
"Congratulations, acting Centurion...." She states with a very subtle hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"Before we proceed, I would like to come to a mutual understanding with you."

"Mutual -- understanding?" The new Centurion asks, all the other men in the room watching, interested or too concerned to intervene.

She continues to toy with the command stick, as if it were some child's plaything.
"King Sombra has hand picked me personally to lead this assault, and lead this assault I shall..." The Red looks over all of the men in the room with a critical eye, now firmly grasping the command stick.
"I have no issue with you men playing war council, or hiding behind titles to make yourselves feel relevant... But in the end, you all answer to me. If I ask you all to assemble the troops, you will assemble the troops. If I ask you to jump, you will jump like your careers depended on it..."
She leans in towards the acting Centurion, and points at one of the Decanus.
"If I ask you to stab out his eyes on this very war table, you'll do it with a smile on your face."
The Legate leans back into her seat and offers him the command stick.
"That fool Cazzaza believed I was merely here for 'moral support'. I trust you won't follow in his footsteps."

All the men in the room straightened their posture as they sat. Nobody liked what she was saying, but nobody dared defy her. The newly acting Centurion sighed and looked down at the table. He then looked up at her.
"Going into a battle blind is going into a battle lost. We aren't hiding, Legate, we're planning. Each one of us - myself included - will be out on the field, securing our selected points. We all know what a Legate does, and I'm sure Cazzaza didn't mean it that way... if anything happens to me, you take lead. If anything happens to you, I take lead. King Sombra wants us to win here, and you being here triples our chances. We need every man out there, eyes and all." He explains, pointing to a very worried looking Decanus.
"I think I shed a tear." Jeniza says quietly and sarcastically behind his mask, eyeing the Centurion.

Chuckling darkly, Josaline winks at the terrified Decanus. She loved taking jabs at the ones she terrified. Turning back to the acting Centurion, she speaks up again.
"Yes, yes, I'm sure you've all been taught your rankings and what they mean... Though I am much more hands on than my Legate counterparts. I will be planning out this assault front to back. Down to the last detail. You are all merely here to carry out my will, and in turn, your king's will. "
She looks around casually.
"Judging by the state of this camp, your tactical input would hinder our efforts more than aid our cause."

The Praefectus Castrorum sits up at that, outraged by the statement.
"This is an offensive camp! it's made purposely by the boarder to ensure our troops get to the Solar Empire quickly, and nothing more. To make it completely defensible would be a waste of resources!" The Praefectus Castrorum shouts out quickly, defending himself. He was an older man, clearly battle hardened and proud.
Rolling his eyes, Jeniza leaned over and mumbled, "Just let them do their little plans. You'll get to torture plenty of Solar guards when we take the fort"

Josaline rolls her eyes in disgust. This wasn't about torturing the Castrorum, at least not entirely. This was about establishing herself as a person none of these cretins would second guess or question. Leaning forward, she offers the Praefectus a look of disgust.
"And I'm sure that excuse will impress the bandits that could easily raid our supply lines, or the slaves that could revolt at a moments notice. Make no mistake, there won't be an offensive if our forces rot from the inside." She sneers at the older man.
With a sharp whistle, a group of five Tribunus, all adorned with Red cloaks, enter the command tent. They file in behind Josaline and Jeniza, clutching their swords, still sheathed.
"You've been cutting corners, Castrorum. You may have been able to charm other officials inspecting this rabble of tents you call a camp, though you will quickly find that I do not tolerate excuses, or incompetence. I hereby relieve you of your duties to Camp Gusto, and to this military campaign."
She leans back, grinning cruelly to herself.
"I will be taking full command of this camp, and of it's soldiers."

The Castrorum looked completely and utterly appalled by the Legates behavior. He stands up furiously, knocking his chair back onto the ground, and points to her.
"I've been running camps since you were young enough to be spanked, you cur! I won't take this sitting down, nobody would dare attack a legionary camp, raiders, rebels, nobody! You may be a legate, but you're too young, and too thick skulled to heed the advice of your elders! You'll find nothing but failure in the face of the enemy if you dismiss me!" He rants and rages at her, the acting Centurion wincing at his words for her.
Jeniza crosses his arms and legs while he listens, silently.

An armored Tribunus, one of Josaline's men, bursts into the command tent. He looked as if he had something rather important to say. He was sweating slightly, as if he had been running rather fast.
"Apologies my lords..." He catches his breath, before turning to Josaline and bowing.
"My Legate, the unit of men you insisted on posting near the river have spotted something. A large group of Bandits, roughly fifty men strong..."

This was too good. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Josaline's grin grew immensely. Standing up from her seat and motioning for Jeniza to do the same, the Legate dusts herself off.
"Thank you Tribunus, you've done well." She dismisses the man, before turning to the former Optio.
"Acting Centurion, assemble the troops, we shall meet these bandits head on. Make sure every slave is securely locked away, and guarded by a unit of twenty Miles. I can think of no better time to spring a slave revolt than in the middle of an attack. My men and I will take the vanguard, you and your men will follow along and provide support." Her orders were clear, and to the point.
Turning to the Castrorum, the Red's smirk was apparent.
"I trust you know the way out of your own camp. I hear that the Shadow Guard is looking for recruits." She chuckles darkly, before heading towards the exit.
