Hello all, and welcome to MLP: The Three Nations. Believe me when I say that I'm just as excited to get roleplaying as you are, unfortunately though this forum is not one without rules. Every member must follow these rules, including your all powerful (And might I add handsome) Admin. Follow the Rules, and you'll have a blast.
Break these rules, and the consequences will be dire...
So, let's get to it, shall we?
1. Have fun. I know, this one is incredibly cheesy, but it's still valid nonetheless. Seriously, whats the point if you're miserable? Just relax and enjoy yourself.
2. Out of character drama will not be tolerated. Seriously, keep this crap off the forum. If you start harassing anybody, for whatever reason, I will ban you. Keep it to yourself, bring it up with a mod, or settle it elsewhere. Nobody wants to hear you argue. Note, constructive debates are encouraged, but as soon as insults start being thrown, I throw you. Out a god dammed window.
3. Excessive profanity will not be tolerated. Let me clear something up right now; this forum is meant for older fans of the show. We're not children here, nobody's going to get offended over an f-bomb every now again. However racial slurs, sexual slurs, or generally distasteful humor will not be tolerated.
4. Spam will be removed. If you come here just to spam or troll the forum, you're wasting your time. Your posts will be deleted, and you'll be served up with an immediate ban.
5. Proper grammar and spelling is expected. This one is pretty self explanatory. It's fine to make a mistake every once in a while, but If you write your posts like a nine year old, they will be deleted. Seriously, spell check isn't all that difficult to use. If you continuously churn out unreadable posts and refuse to improve, you may find yourself banned.
6. Short posts will be deleted. Here at MLP: The Three Nations, we have a certain standard. We aren't snobs or anything, but this is an advanced RP. You don't need to write a novel for each post, but if you post something that could barely be called a sentence or two, It will be deleted. Put a little effort and love into what you write, it's frustrating to RP with someone who doesn't seem to care.
7. Avoid out of character posts where they don't belong. This is very much a common sense thing. If you have a question, statement, or just want to talk about something, there are other places on the forum to do so. I recommend the shout box or the General Discussion section. Don't disrupt the RP with your random crap, it will be deleted.
8. If you post pornographic content, you're getting banned. Keep it to yourself, or share it elsewhere. Some of us don't want to see it. Note, romance between characters is encouraged if the opportunity presents itself, but 'going all the way' is something that's not meant for this forum. Keep it on Skype. Suggestive is fine, even partial nudity is fine in very rare cases, but anything over that is not okay.
9. Don't post other people's personal information. This is a violation of privacy, and you will be punished severely with a potential ban.
10. No god modding. Let me make something very clear; you don't control other people's characters. Lets say your character throws a punch at another character, it's not within your right to say 'the punch connects, knocking him out'. It is up to the character getting punched to decide how they react to the attack. This leads me into the next rule...
11. Don't be a cheap jerk. Come on dude, you've dodged or blocked every single attack thrown at you. I know your character is super awesome, but you need to take a hit every once in a while. It's inconsiderate to everyone else. Seriously, nobody likes to RP combat with that guy. Get over yourself.
12. The Admin decides when character deaths happen. Unless your character commits suicide, a character will never die unless I say he/she does. If you make a post saying something like 'I stabbed him, and he bled out and died', not only is that god modding, but I'll laugh in your face as I delete your post. Of course, NPC's don't count, kill as many of those buggers as you want. Keep in mind however, just because other characters can't kill you without my say, doesn't mean I can't kill you. Don't be careless. If your character is dumb enough to charge an army single handedly, or drink the delicious looking liquid under the sink, I will take joy in killing him/her off. Your characters lives are my playthings *Lightning crashes in the background*
