About a half-hour into his checks, he had all he could find. What he found made him frown; more ways to prove Cen was lying.
He had the clerk make copies of the records and hold them there for him so he could include them in his main report.
Than done, the tired but motivated man headed out. There was still more follow up work to do.

[Enter Corvus]
With files copies in-hand, he want into the office and sat at a desk. He poured over his notes and the information he already had, then began to draft his report. It would take well over an hour to complete, and information he had requested be sent to the camp would arrive during this time, which he needed to study and add to the report. Which would extend the time to took to complete it.
All the while, he expected to be interrupted at any time by the detention of Alex.
The possible involvement of Alex in this was very disturbing.

A guard advised Corvus that Alexander Drake was nowhere to be found. Corvus thought it figured, and concluded he was involved. Alex had arrived the day Corvus did, and now he was gone after this mess without a trace.
The special couriers arrived one after the other, delivering messages and reports he had requested. Corvus reviewed them all, and added the new information to the report.
When the last expected courier arrived, the Commander put the final touches on the report.

Rising from his seat, where he had been planted for nearly three hours, he wearily walked to the Provost office and submitted his final report. Now, all that was left with the trail of the Courts Martial.
Thinking it was high time for him to rest himself, the flightless, magic-less male headed for the Officers' Quarters to get intimately acquainted with his bunk.
He slept the moment his head hit the straw-stuffed pillow.

(The following is the report submitted by Corvus.)
Sworn Case Report and Affidavit
Charges: Capital Homicide, Impersonating for the Purpose of Conspiracy, & Obstruction of Justice by Insubordination.
Affiant - Commander Corvus Corthrow, Royal Provost Defendant – Private Cennio Dancanza, Solar Army
INITIAL CASE SETTING
In the mid-spring of the ninth year of the Equestrian Civil War, Commander Corvus Corthrow of the Solar Royal Provost was assigned to Camp Montfort to augment security forces there in anticipation of a possible breakdown of order due to the unexpected replacement of Captain Marcus’s command by Captain Helmsut.
INTRODUCTION OF PRIVATE CENNIO DANCANZA
Upon his arrival to Camp Montfort, Commander Corthrow was approached by a male in a Solar Armed Forces uniform displaying the rank of Private who was later identified as Cennio Dancanza. The male identified himself only as Cen and informed Commander Corthrow that he had orders from the prior Captain to assist the replacement Captain. Private Dancanza mistook Commander Corthrow for the replacement Captain. It is noted that Commander Corthrow was in uniform at the time, and displaying his rank pin. It is also noted that the scheduled arrival of the replacement Captain was still days away.
As listed in Camp Montfort’s administrative records, Private Dancanza had been Captain Marcus‘s personal aide, at Captain Marcus’s request, despite being less than a month out of boot camp. A copy of the Montfort records are attached to this case report. Commander Corthrow observed Private Dancanza to lack any expression of regret or sorrow at the loss of Captain Marcus. Additionally, Commander Corthrow observed Private Dancanza to have poor military baring in both stance and demeanor when addressing a ranking officer.
Later that day, Commander Corthrow met with Private Dancanza to ask about Montfort’s situational status in furtherance of his assignment to augment security. Private Dancanza replied initially by dodging the questions and giving non-answers. However, Private Dancanza was asked multiple times and he began expressing earnest discontent with the night guards being active, requesting the night guard force be greatly reduced as Camp Montfort was safe deep inside Solar territory. Private Dancanza additionally displayed an intimate working knowledge of how Crystal Empire military camps are run, and compared the discipline of the Solar camps to them, citing the Crystal Empire methods as superior.
Commander Corthrow ordered Private Dancanza to begin physical exercise as both a disciplinary action and an educational demonstration. Initially, Private Dancanza failed to obey and questioned Commander Corthrow. When ordered a second time, Private Dancanza removed his weapon and dropped it to the ground in direct violation of military standards. When corrected on this violation by Commander Corthrow, Private Dancanza openly disagreed and back-talked by saying the sword was not his weapon, but his hands were. The exercise was concluded without incident.
OBSERVATIONS EN-ROUTE TO CANTERLOT
The following day, Commander Corthrow proceeded to exit the camp to enter Canterlot City to follow up on his assignment. While doing so, he was approached by Private Dancanza who enthusiastically requested to come along. Commander Corthrow observed Private Dancanza to appear excited to enter the city, and to state that he had never been to Canterlot before. It is noted that in the attached camp records Private Dancanza had in fact entered the city a week after his arrival, making his statement false.
Private Dancanza produced an old Leave Pass, and stated he had acquired and saved up R&R, despite being there under a month. Private Dancanza also attempted to leave the base off-duty while still in uniform. When asked about this, Private Dancanza was adamant about keeping the uniform on, and stated they could be attacked by Lunar teams, despite saying the day before that the area was safe deep inside Solar territory. Commander Corthrow assigned Private Dancanza as his attaché to avoid the need to use the Pass and to keep the uniform on. While walking, Private Dancanza expressed repeatedly a strong interest in going inside the Palace. Private Dancanza stated his father was a high ranking officer anmed Ser Judas Stonebrook and that the sword he carried was that of his father. Commander Corthrow asked if Private Dancanza shared the same strong religious beliefs as symbolized in his father’s Holy Faith sword, to which Private Dancanza stated he did not. Commander Corthrow further noted that Private Dancanza did not share his father’s last name.
AMBUSH ATTEMPT
As Commander Corthrow and Private Dancanza passed an alley, an unknown female voice cried out for help. Commander Corthrow observed Private Dancanza to freeze and appear disoriented/confused by what was happening, which was uncharacteristic of a military professional and unbecoming of a trained soldier. Commander Corthrow ordered Private Dancanza to run around the block and enter the alley from the other side. Commander Corthrow then entered the alley and located an apparent victim of violence laying on the ground. Commander Corthrow stepped back for safety and used his issued special police whistle to summon additional aid. The blowing of the whistle caused several unknown persons to flee the alley, to include the supposed female victim. Commander Corthrow was able to apprehend the female as additional city lawmen arrived.
After the event, Commander Corthrow was unable to locate Private Dancanza. Commander Corthrow sent a lawman to seek out private Dancanza, however Private Dancanza arrived on his own back the way he had come, and not from the other end of the alley.
Commander Corthrow observed Private Dancanza to be calm and rested, displaying no distress, with blood on his shoes. Private Dancanza was asked what happened, to which he stated that he spotted an armed male and gave chase. Private Dancanza additionally stated that he caught up to the male and “buried my sword in his back”, which caused the male to fly away. Commander Corthrow asked Private Dancanza if he heard Commander Corthrow yelling, to which Private Dancanza said he did, despite the fact that Commander Corthrow used his whistle, and never yelled. Commander Corthrow detected many inconsistencies in Private Dancanza’s statements, and observed blood only on his boots without motion-splatter which was not reasonable given the manner of events as stated by Private Dancanza.
AMBUSH CONCLUSION
Commander Corthrow and Private Dancanza transported the female to the nearest law enforcement post where she was turned over for arrest processing. There, the Post’s Watch Leader was briefed in secret by Commander Corthrow to seize Private Dancanza after he was disarmed. Commander Corthrow asked to see Private Dancanza’s sword to take blood off it, to which Private Dancanza seemed very reluctant and stated he had already wiped it clean. Commander Corthrow asked Private Dancanza to wipe his boot instead, and when this happened Private Dancanza was disarmed and taken into custody. Commander Corthrow asked Private Dancanza to show them the location of the stabbing in order to locate additional blood evidence and corroborate his statements, however Private Dancanza refused to cooperate and fell silent. Private Dancanza was then transported to the Montfort Stockade and subsequently booked. The bloodied boots and sword with a single stone missing from the jeweled pommel were both placed into the evidence locker for safe keeping attached to this case file.
INVESTIGATION SUMMARY
Commander Corthrow continued his investigation by inspecting the Montfort’s personnel records of Private Dancanza. Commander Corthrow then traveled to Canterlot to obtain the Headquarters’ master file on Private Dancanza and his father, Ser Judas Stonebrook. It was then discovered that the file of Ser Judas was partially destroyed, and that Private Dancanza’s file was vague, incomplete, and lacking in basic information.
It was discovered that Ser Judas passed away three months prior, as recorded in a portion of the surviving record, a copy of which was placed into the case file. Commander Corthrow dispatched Royal Provost officers to interview former colleagues, family, and other known personal acquaintances of Ser Judas. It was reported that Ser Judas never had a son, and these reports were placed into this case file.
Additionally, Command Corthrow received a report, which was placed into this case file, from the law enforcement post’s Watch Leader that a murder of a guard had occurred in the Palace at the same time frame as the incident in the alley. A separate supplemental investigation by the Royal Guard determined the murder was very likely connected to a breach of the Palace by the monarch of the Crystal Empire. An autopsy of the murder victim revealed the wound’s dimensions were consistent with the jeweled sword seized from Private Dancanza. The Royal Guard supplemental and autopsy report were both placed into this case file.
CONCLUSION
Biased on the results of his investigation and available evidence, Command Corthrow had reasonable cause to believe, and does believe, that Private Cennio Dancanza did then and there commit multiple felonious criminal acts to include Capital Homicide, Impersonating for the Purpose of Conspiracy, and Obstruction of Justice by Insubordination.
Pertinent evidence connecting Private Cennio Dancanza to the Crystal Empire as an agent of espionage has not been discovered. All such connections are considered by the Law to be circumstantial only, pending additional investigation by the Royal Guard.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Commander Corthrow was advised by the Palace Royal Guard that a male redhead wearing Solar medical officer fatigues was observed entering and exiting the gates at the time of the breech, appearing to be in a hurry, who matched the description of Lieutenant Alexander Drake. Commander Corthrow issued an investigative detention order for Lieutenant Drake, however he was unable to be located. At the filing of this report, Lieutenant Drake is placed as Absconding Without Leave and is a fugitive-at-large and consedered a possible party to the breech.

After a nap, around the time the mess hall would be serving the last meal of the day, Corvus rose and yawned. Smoothing out his uniform, he adjusted the straps on the plates and brushed off the bed fibers.
Around now, he knew a copy his report would be sent to the Palace Headquarters for review and filing.
It was time to play mind games with Cen.
Out of the barracks and the Command Post, Corvus headed to the Stockade.
