Name: Adeptus
Nickname: Adeptus, The Skewer, The beast, The Demon, Thing, Creature, Monster, The Brutalizer
Age: ∞
Gender: N/A
Height: 9'10
Weight: 300 lbs
Nationality: N/A
Occupation: Legate legionis: Highest ranking Legate, second in command to The King
Allegiance: The Crystal Empire
Marital Status: Never
Hair: N/A
Eyes: N/A
Living Relatives: Father: Embaucador
Flight or Magic: Tartarus/Cruel Magic
General Description: Not a living man has seen him out of his intimidating set of armor. It's Crystal Plated and covered with powerful spells; practically impenetrable, and the smooth texture of the crystal plating making it look as if he were from another realm entirely. He has been seen taking several ballistae shots and shrugging them off as if they were nothing. He is impossibly tall and strong enough to rip a tree right out from the ground. Not even Celestia knows what horrors lurk beneath that mask of his, the blackness of his eyeholes never showing a glint of life. His helmet bears the face of a bearded man, the cold, lifeless way he moves only makes him look like a sculpture of a god.
Skills: Death is this mans trade, and he adds a ghoulish twist to every kill. The only thing that Adeptus is good at is slaying whatever is in front of him, and toying with whatever piece of flesh is beside him. He wields a massive Black-Crystal edged Greatsword and is known to use a very thin, long, almost needle-like Javelin in which he pokes holes in things/people for fun. He follows King Sombra's words to the letter, however if he sees someone he considers 'weak' legionary or otherwise, he will teach them a lesson they will take to Tartarus. He also is good at instilling fear and loyalty to Sombra. One look at Adeptus, and you'll be glad you're a Crystillian!
Faults: Now while Adeptus might be good at killing, if you put a puzzle in front of him, he will simply pound it into dust. If you were to say that Adeptus was the dumbest creature on Earth, you wouldn't be wrong. It's only in the hands of a smart person that Adeptus can actually do anything productive. He isn't much of a conversationalist, either. Some say he has two voices, some say he doesn't have any, and that King Sombra connected a tube to the back of Adeptus's head and talks through it. It's very rare for him to say anything meaningful, and when he does, the person can be driven to insanity afterwards.
History: Adeptus is one of the weakest, if not the weakest creature from Tartarus, and that says something about Tartarus, doesn't it? When King Sombra first came into contact with Embaucador, Adeptus's Father, Sombra told him that there are four directions, and that he only has two hands. Embaucador gave King Sombra another set of hands worth trembling over, and King Sombra furnished him a suit worthy of those hands.
Ever since, Adeptus has served loyally and unquestionably as King Sombra's second set of hands, and as his second in command.
