Welcome new and old members alike, to MLP: The Three Nations. I trust that if you're reading this, you have already read the backstory thread, if not I suggest you read that first. This thread is simply here to give you all some info on the three joinable factions on the forum, the New Lunar Empire, the Solar Empire and the Crystal Empire. Just give each faction a read and consider your options carefully. The Faction you choose will determine your side in the great war.
Leader: Queen Luna Umbra Regium
The newly founded nation of the New Lunar Empire was once one half of the larger nation of Equestria. The nation's sovereign leader, Queen Luna Regium, once ruled the great country of Equestria alongside her sister, Princess Celestia. This union was destined to fail however, as the great mistress of the night knew her sister to be selfish at heart. Princess Celestia was fancied a god amongst the Solar loyalists, truly a blasphemy on every level. Queen Luna saw Celestia for what she truly was; a weak leader, who simply wished to revel in admiration rather than lead her nation to glory. Our wondrous Queen, being the visionary that she is, sought to found a new nation. A nation that would not be shackled down by an inferior leader. So it was that Queen Luna Umbra Regium, Mistress of the Night, Guardian of the Realm of Dreams and Daughter of the Moon, founded the New Lunar Empire. Her glorious night sky covered our lands, so that we may bask in it's beauty for all time. However, the tyrant Celestia would not let our people be. War was inevitable, though we would never back down from the Solar Empire. If they wish to withhold our independence, we will fight them until either both Empires lay in waste, or Celestia bows down to the one true Queen.
The people of the New Lunar Empire are strong and loyal to their Queen. While we are not as magically prone as the Solar or Crystal Empires, neither of them can match our dedication and valor in combat. As a citizen of the New Lunar Empire, it is up to YOU to secure your freedom. All of you must do your part to ensure our great nation's independence, and beat the Solar loyalists into submission. Whether you fight the enemy on the front lines of battle, participate in stealthy recon missions deep in enemy territory, or serve our Queen in the political circle, every one of your contributions will ensure our victory in this war. If we stand united, we will end this terrible conflict and finally break free from the oppressive reign of the Solar Empire.

The Sun is truly a gift. It warms the world, and brings light and life to us all. While the moon and stars are no doubt beautiful, it is the Sun that is important in our daily lives. It staves off the harsh cold of the night, grows our food, and provides a future for our children. There was once a time that both Sun and Moon worked together in harmony. The golden age of Equestria seemed the ideal utopia, with our glorious Princess Celestia, patron goddess of the Sun, at the helm. For two hundred years, all was well... It wasn't until the treacherous Princess Luna betrayed Equestria that our age of supremacy would come to an end. The selfish, juvenile 'Daughter of the Moon' would see our way of life dissolved in favor of an endless night. We musn't allow ourselves to succumb to barbarism. Under the leadership of our newly crowned Queen, we will repair every wound that the evil Luna has dealt us, and bring order and harmony back to the land.
To do this, we need your help. Join the Royal guard to fight off the Lunar rebels and protect your homes, undertake secretive missions to bravely infiltrate the land of never ending night, or simply serve our goddess Celestia in any way you're able. All of us must contribute if the Solar Empire is to restore Equestria to how it once was. This war must come to an end, and through our righteous cause, we shall heal the land that the Lunar Empire has torn asunder.

Of course, The Crystal Empire didn't start out as an Empire. It wasn't until Queen Nacimiento Ceniza came into power, with her children at her side. Before her reign; The Empire was pathetic, isolated, and a universal dumping ground for criminals from around the world. There are three Mining Camps in The Empire, however thanks to His Magnificence: King Sombra, now they are being used to bring beauty all across the world with the crystals harvested from them! May his divinity and greatness be an example to all other rulers! These camps are a huge contributor to The Empire's success, wealth, and culture! Admittedly, without the Mining Camps, the Empire you see today would not exist, which is why it's so vitally important for YOU to contribute to His Magnificence's Empire! steady shelter, food, and pay provided, you can meet new friends and help ensure your child's bright future in the most wondrous place in the world!
