[Enter Queen Celestia]
Entering inside of her throne room, it seemed the paper work she requested for the day seemed to already be in its usual spot by her chair. Strolling over to them with her glowing figure in the royal white stunning dress, her sparkling shoes stayed straight on the pink path to the chair. With the golden stitched dress just barely dragging onto the clean and shimmering royal floor, the Queen stepped with ease as she made her way there. Brightened by the rays of light illuminating the room through the stain glass windows, a smile widened on Celestia's face at her hard works beauty. Sitting down and placing the envelopes on her lap, it was time she begun her royal duties for the day. Turning to the other side of her and noticing her usual peppermint tea sitting by her side in a cooling off fashion, the Queen only felt more appreciated as the time went on. Knowing it was her normal routine to skip breakfast and come here for her tea and address the public one by one, her guards standing outside her doors had only comforted her thoughts on the drink being safe. Placing her somewhat cold hand on the steam enduced cup, a small hum escaped her lips at the wondrous feeling it brought her palm. It was toasty and warm as she brought it to her nostrils for a sniff, the hot air assaulting them with the smells of mint as the steam rose.
Loving every second of her peaceful and quiet morning, a small sip of her drink was taken before placing it down. Opening up her first letter of the day, it seemed the children's school was requesting her presence in a month. Warming up to the idea of seeing bright and gleeful faces of the youth, the kind and loving Queen of the sun had begun to write back her response. Checking off a yes and letting them know she would be more then honored to show up, Celestia was sure her other letters would not be so heart warming. Using her magic and quickly teleporting the letter to its sender, her pink orbs turned to the next one. Opening it up and sighing almost immediately, funding to the lower class of civilians was being asked almost on a daily basis. Deciding to open another that seemed to have the royal crest as a stamp, her eyes skimmed the wording as an interesting expression rose to her face. The soldiers needed new recruits, well this was going to be a problem. Hating to every draft any one, the Queen felt as if each and every subject she had was allowed to chose. Still, letting the public know that she needed soldiers willing to undergo training wouldn't be so awful. After all, she wasn't forcing anyone that didn't want to.
Wondering when she was going to retrieve her first visitor of the day, Queen Celestia continued to look over her paperwork. Signing this and stamping that, it seemed the world would never get enough of her. In the line of immortality, it would seem gaining friends was always harder then one could imagine. Taking another sip of her tea and continuing to await her subjects with their questions, a walk in the town among the commoners sounded splendid if the morning went swimmingly. Thinking of her pet bird and wondering if she should even allow him to accompany her, Philomena was like her own personal diary. Always listening to her stories of the day and complaints, the fire bird was absolutely the best choice for a pet. Wondering what kind of pets her subjects would have, it seemed today was going to be a warm and talkative day after all. 'Bring on the day, I am ready for whatever you have to throw at me.'

[Enter Aibne]
From the small crack made in between the door the head of the journeyman poked out, he then did a quick look around to see if he wasn't interrupting anything. He didn't want to come off as rude before he started his protest, what with lasting impressions and what not. Slowly he emerged from the small crack in between the doors and pretty soon his whole body came through, his eyes were of course locked on the Queen herself sitting on her throne. All sorts of feelings swelled up in chest as he stood at the doors practically staring at her with a small sense of awe. Quickly he then stood up straight and put his hands in his pockets as he began looking at the brilliant architecture of the room, it was far different from the family estates and mansions he had been in in his travels during work. Yet aside from all the feeling of astonishment he had, there was still some dissent gnawing at him.
'Wonder how many fellows it took to make this things...wonder how much they got paid...' He thought.
Without much further delay of admiring the scenery Aibne began to casually make his way to the throne room. His leather shoes made a certain flopping sound as he walked, it was quite different from the usual click-clack of high end shoes that would find their way into the room. Aibne's self was just as dilapidated as his shoes being that he looked more like a peasant than a moderately economically stable migrant worker, from the quality of his work belt to the quality of his hat. All this didn't seem to impede a sense of pride which emanated from him as he held his head up high. It didn't take much longer before Aibne was at the base of the throne looking up at Queen Celestia.
"Hello, I've come here to deliver a protest...well it's more of a list of grievances. It won't take up much of your time." Aibne stated as politely as he possibly could, his gaze wandered from the Queen to around the throne room to back at the Queen.

From the suns magical rays, the beams of light coming from the windows had only caused the Queen to sparkle further in the day's blissful light. Upon seeing her door open once again, Celestia offered a warm smile to the new face making its way down the isle towards her. Judging from his attire, the gentleman seemed low class yet highly intelligent as her subtle pink orbs observed his facial expressions with amusement. Throughout her morning, many had come more so to worship her then for problem solving, this had caused her to not give much thought on his reasoning for being here. Curious however as to her theories if she was indeed wrong, the Queen yearned to help at least one person that actually needed it today. Looking up to hearing him talk of a protest, her blank emotionless face grew more intrigued as a brow lifted in curiosity.
"Oh? My dear subject, please go on. I wish to help make all of my children happy."
Now this had the Queen thinking. From his wardrobe choices, he seemed like the type to ask for a raise or new employment opportunities, but something else about him had Celestia unsure on the whole situation. Still, wishing to make her subjects happy one at a time, she offered a new smile in wonder. Not leaving her eyes off of him for a minute, her intense focus had made it clear she was listening with a professional demeanor.

"Heh...right..." He responded as he pulled from his over coat his small notebook, casually he started to flip through it and look over certain pages. Aibne was certainly taking his time to find just the right one, eventually he stopped flipping through his notebook and smiled as he looked at a page.
"Ah-ha! Here we are...now I don't mean to offend, I also have come to the conclusion that I'm obviously not the only one who feels this way about current...doings." He cleared his throat and began to read aloud from his book, no longer looking at Celestia but at the page.
"You autocrat, you despot, you oligarch. For as long as I can recall we have all bowed down to you in piety and respect believing you to be a god, if so then taking from your sister gods are corruptible, foolish, things and taking from you they are blind to the bad in this world. Out of this city your palace looks over every corner yet you let the slums and alleyways fester in poor condition and let the inhabitants roll around in filth as they continue to bow down to you, thinking they are ants at the feet of a god."
He then briefly stops to turn the page and to catch his breath.
"I have not come to waste your time in thinking that I'm just another traitor who has come to offer a piece of his mind. I am not a traitor for I love the Solar Empire as I was born and raised in it, and though I haven't much way to prove my love to the country I can only profess protest to its ruler. A ruler who, for nine years, has shown no sign of stopping the bloodshed of her citizens in a brutal war. Peace is clearly a thing for mortals since 'gods' seem to dare not meddle in it..."
Aibne pauses and puts his notebook back in a coat pocket, looking up at Celestia.
"If you are the 'god' everyone says you are, then why haven't you preformed the miracle of making the war end? The Solar Empire doesn't need a ruler, it needs a leader...Ma'am.."
His tone then swiftly changed from an emotional one to a rather chipper one.
"Well that's my protest, I hope I didn't bore you or offend you. I do hope you consider what I had to say...Oh! And please don't arrest me." With that said Aibne looked up at Celestia with an innocent smile as he folded his hands behind him and began to looks around the throne room again. If his fears were right then this may as well be the last time he would see these, not that he wasn't eager to be dismissed though.

Queen Celestia had been silent through it all, her expression never changing from its blank slate as he continued on. Each word he spoke felt like a dagger to her chest, for she knew what her subjects were going through. It is true her palace can see the inches of the city others cannot, but what this commoner did not know was that the rise of free will greatly overpowered her own. To accomplish piece, war must always be brought forth first. If she was honest with herself, was she doing everything she could to help her citizens? With each available and capable soldier out in the ranks of battle, there weren't many left to defend the city against civil crimes. Still, guards rotated the lands around here, they helped keep the people safe, what he was suggesting meant they weren't doing their jobs. Unfortunately as a ruler, the Queen knew there would be times were she had to handle situations like this, and even take one for the team.
"My good subject, what is your name?"
Finally allowing her face to show care and concern, her body language stilled to the throne. Glinting at her guards around the room and noticing their weapons at the ready if things were to get out of hand, the Queen wished to use her words. For this was something Luna had never possessed, and that was the ability to win with out picking up a sword or throwing a fist. Celestia did not wait for him to answer his name however as her voice broke through the silence once again.
"The Solar Empire, a large and blooming location for citizens to enjoy their time how they see freely. Do you agree that everyone deserves their own free will? Did you also know that I have never agreed to being a god, but again, I am not denying it. For you see, I am just like you. I cry, I bleed, I feel, and throughout these past few centuries, I have learned that my subjects will not be swayed by my words of changing a status. Princess Luna had fallen from grace, despite my efforts to save her, I am afraid everyone has a breaking point. So I ask you, if you were the ruler, and armies were attacking your subjects, what would you do? Would you not fight back for the sake of freedom? The soldiers that represent us were volunteer, they wished to fight for everyone's freedom. I too am on the battlefield, every day I go and help prepare. I do not like it, I do not support this fighting, but I do support protecting my subjects. I will go through the flames and back if it meant saving one life, so tell me, am I really that monster in your book? Today I had signed a paper stating for more guards and volunteers to help protect this town and others in the Empire from the crimes within the cities. Even the volunteers will be payed for their services, and if they wish for a job, they only need ask. While I cannot speak for employers out there that mistreat their employees, I assure you, any reports written in are looked at thoroughly."
After her speech, the Queen had actually stood up. Walking towards him and stopping just before, the guards seemed to tense as their aim only seemed to grow more accurate. Meanwhile, standing tall in her white and gold dress, she wanted to make him see she was trying her best, but what she also wanted was his response. Making sure he had breathing room if needed, the Queen was not new to the politics of war and destruction. He wanted peace, like others, they were not wrong for wanting such things, and she could never punish them for acting on it.
"I enjoy your honesty, and I would never arrest you for speaking your mind. Tell me, would you wish to help me strive for my goal at peace? If I am clearly not doing a good job, maybe it is because I don't someone with your intelligence and bravery to show them the way. You have my word, I, Queen of the Solar Empire, am and will do all in my power to stop this endless battle for peace."

Aibne nearly stumbled onto his back when the Queen had headed towards him, feelings of brewing hate melted away into feelings of slight sympathy for Celestia. His mind quickly tried to formulate a rebuttal or at least response as he pulled himself back together. Memories of how his brother would lecture him on how to rationally win an argument blurted out of his mind as his anger flared. His anxiety wasn't exactly eased when he saw the guards around him had been looking awfully more aggressive, but he managed as he replied to the Queen nevertheless.
"Show them the way? How? Work harder till my bones break for a ruler who I have no revere for? Join the army so that the enemy will kill me and with me my ideas? Oh yes, you say you are working for peace. Where has this work been for the past nine years?!"
Aibne's voice was no longer leveled and instead somewhat in the middle of breaking and desperate. He wouldn't accept that Celestia had bested him in what he had gotten himself into. The journeyman was quite riled up and would've most likely acted on his impulses if it weren't for the cohort of guards, but he then began to calm himself. There was no way he'd let himself leave without feeling as though he got some kind of victory, however small it may be. With that idea in mind he walked forward, closing the space between him and Celestia till he was within arm's reach. Looking up at the tall Queen, he glared.
"Oh please bestow upon me your wisdom, Your 'highness'!"
If he were in his right mind he would've felt a mix of fear and regret for having confronted the most powerful being he even knew of.

"You are hurt, I understand where your rage comes from. People these days only try to rely on miracles to get by instead of doing it themselves. I too fall victim to wishing my problems would be solved by someone higher up. Sadly life does not work that way. We must stand up to our mistakes, we must take on the hard ships of life and show them what it is we can do. So tell me Broletarian, what is it that you can do?"
The Queen of the Solar Empire spoke soft and warm as she turned towards the window. Stepping closer to it and breaking eye contact, it seemed as though she knew what his name was the whole time. Placing a hand on the stain glass window, her eyes stare out to the outside world. Her glance from person to person, the pink orbs only showing remorse for what her people were going through. She was doing everything she could to protect them, even going into battle herself. Things needed to end, and they needed to end soon. The air between the room remained silent for the moments she zoned out, her hand clenching at the side of her dress, she only wished he would carry her words with him through his struggles.
"The war will be ending soon if the sun itself needs to drop and the flames of terror rain down upon our enemies, Luna will be stopped."
Queen Celestia turns back around to face her visitor, her face was more serious and determined as she pulled out her sword. Where it had come from, no one knows as she lifted it high from its sheath. Watching the reflective light bounce from its metal to the floor, she offered a small smile. Placing it back in its sheath to show she was never defenseless, she looked back to him with a strength buried deeply inside of her. Her heart was on her sleeve and it was prominent she cared for her subjects, going far and beyond her duties to be sure they were living free.
"Guards, give Broletarian anything he desires to start a better life. I want a guard at his side at all times for protection, but he is not the enemy, he is our friend, and a speaker for the people. And we love our people."
The guards seemed to nod in unison, serving their Queen til the end of time as one in particular stepped up to bow to the man himself. With a fist over his chest, he was there to ensure the choice of the people would not be harmed out there in the real world. He spoke with honor and respect for the guy. "I am at your command sir."

(I didn't mean to cause any confusion, but "Broletarian" is my account name, Aibne is the character name. Sorry if it caused any kind of confusion)
Aibne went wide eyed and stood still rather dumbfounded, was he hearing the Queen correctly? If he did then he wasn't pretty sure he believed it, his silent contemplation was then broken when he scratched his head and looked at Celestia with a mix of confusion and wonderment.
"Uh...um...wow...wow! T-that's quite a lot...to uh...take in..."
His voice sputtered as he ran through his head what Queen Celestia had said again and again. Never in all his life had he come across an offer equal to or greater than the one given to him. About a decade's worth of working from place to place had finally managed to get him somewhere, and it was somewhere good. There was something gnawing at his mind though, something that had been deep in his mind.
"...I...I'm sorry your highness...but I can't accept such a gift...well except maybe for the guard and the title, that's pretty good. I'm sure you understand that I have certain convictions that prevent me from taking such a gift...Please, put such a gift among the people and not to me..."
It had seemed to him that within an instant all feelings of spite, resentment, and protest he had locked in his mind against Celestia had disappeared. Maybe one day he'll regret not taking the tremendous gift, but for now he felt pretty okay about it.

(Totally my bad there. ^^ heh my apologies sir. It will be fixed.)
Smiling at the noble gentleman for his kindness, the Queen of the Solar Empire offered a simple nod to his request. While she understood his reasoning for not taking the money, he would still not be left for broke if she had anything to say about it. Pleased at the fine man her subjects had raised and a grand leader for their speech, she allowed a few moments of silence to pass between them. He would have his guard, and the title of speaking for the public, but over all, he would have his faith restored.
"As you wish, to the people. But Aibne, do not be afraid to come to me if you ever need advise or an open ear. I am always here for you and this Empire. You truly have a gift, and your noble actions will not be forgotten. I plan on making the wage rise for my hard workers out there so that they too can get paid well enough for their lives. Your generous offer will also be given to them right away."
Turning to a guard in particular, he seemed to be writing this all down before stopping and nodding to the new man as if to approve that what she said was the truth. Returning her gaze back to him, her smile never faltered in her words as she placed out her arms towards him. In showing that she trusted him with his words and actions, the Queen of the Solar Empire stepped forth to hug the visitor lightly.
"You are always welcome here. I admire your generosity and hope you write to me if you ever feel yourself in need."
((Forgive my slowness sir.))

(It's all good)
Seeing that things had gone unusually to his favor Aibne was fairly happy to see how nicely it went down, well maybe not for the hugging part. Aibne wasn't much of an affectionate person after all, at least not physically affectionate, and simply grunted at the interaction and blushed a little.
"Well...I guess my work is done for the time being...was awfully nice meeting you, well not at first but you understand. Oh! And thanks for the title, I'll sure as sunshine be using it sometime in the future."
With that said Aibne doffed his hat and did a slight bow to the queen. Squarely he put his back on and began walking down the halls of the throne room to the door, a little quickly being that he was somewhat excited to exercise his new role as "Voice of the People". It would do his family proud for them to find out that their youngest member had made a name out of himself AND got to meet the leader of the Solar Empire. The decadent hall of the throne room finally came to an end as Aibne reached the doors, before he reached for one of the humongous doors he turned back to Queen Celestia and put in a final word.
"If you need my help in the future, please be hesitant to ask. I've got places to be."
Though the statement had come out a little more arrogant than Aibne had intended it at least cleared up the one problem he had with the job. Since it was said and out there Aibne gave one last wave and pulled open one of the doors leading to the palace hallways and gladly walked through.
[Exit Aibne]

'CRASH' The sound of glass shattering suddenly fills the room as an arrow soars through one of the many stain-glass windows that lined the throne-room. The arrow keeps going, undisturbed by the glass, until it smashes into a wall and flutters to the ground.
Around the arrow seems to be a black gem, or more accurately, a polished black crystal. Before any of the Celestial guard could go and pick it up, or clean up any of the glass, smoke bursts out from the Black Crystal.
[Enter King Sombra]
The black mist soon forms into a very tall, and very handsome man. This man wears light armor and the crown of a king. His light red cape flows behind him and his Alicorn-shaped belt-buckle glows with power. It was King Sombra himself, in person, unarmed.
He stood there, looking at Queen Celestia with a smirk and his arms crossed.
"Queen Celestia! Oh it has been far too long!" He calls out, extending his arms in a sign of friendship and strutting over towards her throne.

With her most loyal solider's creating a triangle around her body, the Queen of the Solar Empire stood in a focused manner. With something powerful enough to burst through her windows, other solders seemed to rush towards the hole when the smoke began. Not wishing to show fear nor emotion in front of her subjects, a wave of her hand was all it took for the guards to escort the rest outside. Noting the shape of the crystal, her intricate pink orbs carefully examined the forming body before her.
"Stand right where you are. That is, if you admire your beautiful face King Sombra."
With her words nearly spinning with amusement and anger within the same sentence, the Queen offered a small mumble to the trio surrounding her. With their eyes glancing at her in concern, they nodded in respect as the three soldiers separated and stood around each corner of the wall closest to her. Finally giving Sombra a time of day, her eyes looked into his own. Darkness swirled, it was hard to keep a nice face as she managed well enough. Thinking back to the easier days, in her mind she had always wondered what he would have been like on the side of good. He was handsome yes, but also dangerous, very dangerous. Hating to see good potential wasted on the dark side, the Queen in her glorious and stunning white dress with golden stitched edges stood tall and proud.
"What brings you here?"

King Sombra gave a lazy shrug and emoted with his face that he was utterly nonplussed and bored. He strode over to the closest of her soldiers, simply to see how close he could get before the guard wets his armor.
"I suppose you've heard of this new Empire that has opened up on your doorstep." He says loudly, ensuring that Celestia would hear. Sombra keeps his arms crossed, however he stares deeply into the guards eyes.
"I can't remember the new Usurper's name -- I believe it started with an L... Hm..." He ponders aloud, obviously toying with her.

The guard standing had held in his former breath, truthfully unsure as to what he should do as he froze in place. Keeping an eye on his Queen, an unintentional gulp could be seen coming from his throat in a nervous manner. There he was, standing right before him with no sign of a weapon. Curious as to why Queen Celestia didnt end Sombra on the spot, the soldier stood in place, his legs aiming not to shake.
Meanwhile, the more he spoke, the more the Queen of the Solar Empire yearned to step closer. Not wishing to play his game however, she merely placed down the sword she whipped out from earlier. Letting the King know she could take his words, her feet had begun to move. Not getting close to him however, she had began to inspect the hole in the window.
"Strange. I do not recall you having interest in Equestrian matters. Why don't you go back to your little land and play king awhile more? Then, when your ready, we can talk."
Hating that her bitterness to his last sentence got to her more then she realized, the Queen turned back to him with a smile. She may have lost her sister, but surely he couldn't be so foolish to think he could take her on now. Knowing her guard would be perfectly fine, she had begun to walk towards her throne. Guiding her nimble fingers over the arm of the chair, she proceeded to sit down.
"Now, are you going to tell me why you invaded my empire and broke into my palace? I do not think you want the penalty that follows."
