The main pathway to where you may need to roam inside Canterlot.

[Enter Aibne] Aibne's legs ached and his mind surged with thoughts of anger as he drudged along the various streets and sidewalks of Canterlot, no longer with an idea as to where to go. He sighed and stopped walking at the edge of the curb of the street he walked along in front of a dainty looking shop. Grumbling, he carefully sat himself down on the curb and placed his elbows on his knees and kept his head up with his hands. The journeyman's brief journey had come to an end as he sat there on the curb thinking back to Steve's words. Maybe the blacksmith was right, maybe there was nothing Aibne could do but exist and go with whatever the Solar Empire did.
'Bah! Come on Aibne! Get a hold of yourself, don't succumb to the royalty.' He thought as he sighed. His gaze was a blank stare that pointed forward, not focusing on anything particular as he continued to have a mental dilemma. Though it was certainly an odd sight to see a journeyman, in full work garb, sitting on the street's curb, blankly staring ahead of him as throngs of people passed by him.

Sitting around for about an hour on a curb of a busy street certainly gave Aibne an insight on the details of staring at a wall, but this wasn't the only thing that was in his mind. The clean look of the inner city had sickened him, his short trip in the slums and alleyways of the city were still fresh in his mind. He aught to do something about it, he figured. Grumbling, he stood himself up and looked to the direction of the Solar Palace. He pulled from an inner coat pocket a small notebook and a piece of graphite and flipped through the notebook which was littered with notes, short political treaties, and doodles.
'A petition? Hm...no...a list of grievances? Maybe...' Aibne began to write down in his notebook while he slowly walked along the curb. Quickly he began writing down his protest as he would wander off the curb every now and then and would bump into a pedestrian who he would ignore and simply walk past. His destination was the Solar Palace and he slowly began preparing his list of complaints, grievances, and protests for the Princess herself to hear. 1 'Oh it'll be quite the sight!' He mused, 'A high and mighty royal listening to me! If brother could see me now...' A smirk formed on his face as he neared the street leading to the gates of the Solar Palace. [Exit Aibne]

[Enter Corvus]
He strode casually, in no hurry, especially knowing the younger soldier behind him was new to the area. He wanted Cen to look around and take in the historical, legendary Capital of Equestria and Seat of the Solar Nation.

Cen couldn't care less, honestly, however he put on an excited face, and kept a cautions hand at the pommel of his jewel-encrusted sword. He stayed close by Corvus.
"So we're going to see the Palace -- right?" He asks, excitedly, before quickly following it up with, "Where Princess Celestia is?"

He stopped suddenly, and turned to look at him, his face displaying curiosity, "Do you see Her Majesty as a goddess?"

He stopped as well, shocked by the sudden questioning and the seriousness of it. He blinked a few times and shook his head.
"I'm not one of the religious ones -- though if there was a goddess, she would be it." He responds.

He watched Cen with green eyes, "Tell me about yourself, Private. Let me get to know you. Few are permitted to walk the inner Castle's halls, but you have a slim opportunity to do so instead of waiting within the barracks. You are not the typical soldier at all, and I want to know why."
The 5'11 male turned ahead and continued to walk.

Tilting his head and narrowing his eyes, Cen walked beside Corvus.
"I -- sir?" He asks, confused. "I don't see what makes me special... my father was a high-ranking soldier, taught me everything, I -- idolized him. He even gave me this here sword." He says, patting its pommel.
"Boot Camp was easy. It feels good to have everything by the book -- have everything be so simple... my father walked the halls of the Palace. I would like to as well, sir, if that's what you're implying." He explains, his voice getting a bit frail at points. He obviously wasn't used to talking about himself in such a light, though he obviously wanted to get inside the castle and walk the halls.

[Enter Alexander] Alex enters from a little off from the entrance a little too casually. He looks around for Corvus and Cen, once locating them following behind, just out of sight. He mutters to himself "Night's better for this...damn Solar Empire and their permanent day..."

"That explains it then." He said, more to himself then to Cen. He looks over at him, "To not be a member of the Holy Faith, and yet to carry that sword was suspicious. Who is your father?"

"Ser Judas Stonebrook." He replies simply, nodding his heard and patting the pommel of his sword.
"Does this mean I can your the palace? I've always wanted to just -- lose myself in the majestic halls.." He says, sounding truthfully.

"No." He made a mental note to review the dossier of Ser Judas Stonebrook as well.
"You carry your father's sword, but lack the same devotion it represents. Keep speaking, it is a long walk across the city. I am not convinced I can or should vouch for you."

Shortly after Corvus finishes talking, a young womans scream could be heard emanating from a nearby alleyway.
"Help! Please! Oh Celestia leave me alone!" The woman pleas. She seemed to be in legitimate danger, and terrified for her life.

Cen turned and gasped lightly, looking to the alleyway. He stood there, frozen, unsure what to do.
