This is the camp ground itself, and the entrance to the Montfrot Base. This is the day-to-day operations area of the facility. A horse stable is located near the entrance. The open grounds it includes the general quarters where the civilian employees and resident soldiers of the camp have their various personal tents set up. There is also a mess-area/outdoor kitchen where meals are served. An enclosed dirt track has been constructed to practice horsemanship. There is a lot of open ground, which houses various booths, service stations, and supply depots. It is well organized and kept clean by the recruits. The camp is surrounded by a strong ten foot high lumber wall dotted with Solar Empire and banners, patrolled by guards complete with watch towers. Only military personnel and select civilian workers are permitted after a check of their papers. It is indeed a safety-zone.

[Enter Corvus from the City, having taken the secured government use only routes from the Palace]
With a large duffle bag slung over one shoulder, Corvus made his way across the large open camp ground. He was in full uniform, including the signature gold armor and blue plumed helmet. He was all too familiar with the camp, and headed directly towards the camp’s command post.
As he walked the soldiers and basic officers made way and saluted. Corvus returned each salute properly, despite carrying the big bag and his shield across his back. Many of their eyes briefly lingered on his collar, which bore not only his rank but the insignia of the Royal Provost.
Soon enough, he made it to the command post near the center of the camp.
[Exit Corvus into the command post]

[Enter Alexander]
Alexander leaves the tent and begins to make his way to the Mess Hall, though stops and looks towards the armoured solider walking to the Command Post. He raises an eyebrow, not remember seeing this man at the Base before. He changes his course to the Command Post in order to see what the Solider is doing here. Alexander likes to think of himself as the Greeter of the base, Some find it annoying, but he Superiors don't seem to mind.
[Exit Alex to Command Post]

[Enter Alexander] Alexander steps out of the tent, rubbing his hands together. "Well, time for some grub, hope the Cook's serving up something good." He begins to make his way to the Mess-area, whistling a tune.

[Enter Corvus, several hours behind Alex]
With keen interest and directed intent, Corvus toured the grounds at random. He challenged the readiness of the posted guards and patrols he came across, which certainly livened up the force's alertness. He looked over the tents and structures he passed, seeking out security flaws and blind spots. He did the same for the perimeter walls and guard towers.

[Enter Cen from resting Center]
Cen strode out and sat alone at the end of one of the many long-tables. Private Cen was spooning in whatever he put onto his place. He remained in his armor & helm, and didn't intend to speak or interact with anyone.

Eventually, Corvus would wander by the mess hall, recalling that he had yet to eat that afternoon. In doing so, he noticed Private Cen having his meal. It was against protocol for officers and enlisted to eat together, so Corvus took a tray and got himself a plate of whatever was being served.
He took the tray to the officer's side of the hall, and sat to eat quickly. He wanted to finish at or before Cen was done so he could meet him outside the hall for a little chat.

Cen took hardly any time at all to enjoy his meal. Shortly after he set his plate down and walked out of the mess hall, wiping some food off his face with the back of his guantlet.
He walked a little and stopped to take a look up at the sun.

"Hello again, Private Cen."
A firm and clear, though calmed and low toned voice spoke aloud behind him.

Turning around quickly and seeing Corvus, Private Cen raised his hand up in salut.
"Sir!" He responds as a greeting, not knowing Corvus's ranking.

Corvus saluted back sharply. Cen would be able to see a Lieutenant Commander rank pin on his royal blue and black cloth uniform's epaulet.
"Do you have a moment to talk?" He asked rather casually.

The request seemed strange to him, and his grey eyes narrowed slightly with confusion.
"Uhm --" He tucks his hands back behind him in a respectful manner and nods. "Yes, Lieutenant." He answers quickly.

"How long have you been posted here at the camp, Private?"
He started to walk, and motioned for the Private to join.

"A month, sir!" He replies, on the bounce and quickly getting next to Corvus, keeping the same pace with him.
"I enlisted a month and 14 weeks ago, sir! Boot camp before that, sir!" He continues. He seemed a bit old to be a Private, however people of all ages are allowed to join the Celestial Guard.

"Oh, is that all? So you served as the former captain's assistant for only a short time then." He frowned some, and continued to walk.
Perhaps this earnest soldier would be a bit less of use than he had hoped.
